Location: Wythall, South Birmingham


Working pattern: 9 month fixed term contract


Looking for a role within Financial Services where you can take responsibility for operating key IT processes, testing new system developments, and suggesting improvements to our financial reporting tools?

If so, why not come and join our Actuarial Reporting team as a Production Administrator?


The Role:


The role will involve the controlled running of quarterly valuations to support regulatory requirements, and providing financial metrics to other teams within the department to help inform key business decisions. 


 This role will involve plenty of scope for suggesting improvements and ways of streamlining our procedures, as we continue to work towards accelerating our reporting timescales.  Alongside "business as usual" activity, you will also support User Acceptance Testing of any changes to our actuarial modelling and reporting systems.

What we're looking for:


Ideally with a genuine all-round appreciation of practical IT applications, you should be a strong and confident communicator who can demonstrate flawless attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage both your time and workflow.  You will need to be able to adapt quickly to new and evolving processes, to adopt a flexible mind-set when novel situations arise, and to have a strong, team-focused work ethic.


Previous experience within Financial Services is not essential, but general interest and knowledge of the industry would certainly be an advantage.  As you’ll be working within a role that involves tight deadlines and a robust audit framework, you will need to demonstrate your ability to deliver work to a high standard and an understanding of working within a well-controlled environment.  The role may require some flexible working hours during our peak reporting periods.
