Business Analysis

Our Business Analysts support all projects across our diverse project stack, engaging with the business areas to identify their needs, document, validate and identify appropriate solutions to business problems. The Business Analyst needs to be able to bring together knowledge of the business and its processes, in order to understand the impact of changes. To be a successful Business Analyst you must be able to build on existing and create new stakeholder relationships at all levels within the business.

Philip Reilly, Head of Project Delivery.

In the change team, we’re at the heart of driving the business forward. From maximising financial benefits to improving the outcomes for customers, our success has a direct impact on the Group’s success.

There are many positive reasons for working here. The people are professional, knowledgeable and motivated with a can-do attitude. Phoenix are also very proactive in corporate responsibility. The personal reward you get from being able to support both national and local charities is massive. The feeling of making a difference to people’s lives is very satisfying.

My Career
Life Story

Lauren Jordan, Project Support Analyst.

Joining Phoenix gave me the opportunity to develop my career further within the Finance industry. During my 14 months with the Business, I have been exposed to complex programmes and large projects, which have enabled me to develop my skillset and expand upon my understanding of what excellent project management looks like.

Phoenix provides a strong network to support me within my job role, for example I have a mentor who I meet with on a regular basis to discuss my progress and my line manage is always offering me advice and guidance. All my colleagues that I work with are extremely knowledgeable and approachable, they always have time to talk – about work, or just to see how you are.

My Career
Life Story

Rachel Bennett, Senior Project Manager.

Why did I join Phoenix? I have to be honest – I fell in love with the location and the facilities! With the gym and free lunch, I knew it was going to be different from other companies I’d worked for.

I love the variety in the Change team. Every project presents new challenges and experiences, which keep me on my toes and enable me to develop. I’m trusted, empowered and able to work in my own way. There isn’t a ‘one size fits all’ approach here and that really works for me.
