Our HR Business Partners work closely with senior managers and leaders to ensure our solutions meet business needs. While HR Consultants offer guidance on all our people policies and procedures. We’re also involved in a wide range of business projects, supporting mergers and acquisitions, TUPE and organisational change.

In this specialist operations support team, we provide technology support and HR management information for the business. We also manage the vital business relationship with our outsourced payroll service provider, Diligenta.

We’re the team that makes sure everyone’s aware of the Phoenix Group’s aims and strategy. This involves designing and delivering a variety of internal and external communications across several platforms, from Town Halls and senior management conferences, to social media and engagement forums. We work with managers across the business to help them shape and deliver the messages they want to get across to their people. Everything from communicating change or project updates to celebrating success.

Baldeep Mangat, HR Risk and Governance Analyst

Prior to joining Phoenix I was working within a Managed Service Agreement at the Wythall site and I could see that Phoenix engages, develops, and rewards its people. This appealed to me and was something I hadn’t experienced at other places.

My role’s fairly unique and it gives me the opportunity to be an SME within the department. I enjoy exposure to each area of HR, which gives me an understanding of their challenges. It’s a very upbeat and friendly place to work. There always seems to be an opportunity for development and challenging work.

Nicky Riche, HR Consultant.

I was with my previous employer for 10 years, so I’m enjoying the challenge of learning about a new business and sector. Everyone I’ve met has been very welcoming, which has helped me feel settled very quickly. What’s impressed me most are the opportunities for development and the focus on succession planning across the business.

It’s also good to see the emphasis on corporate social responsibility work and staff engagement. My family and I have already had the opportunity to enjoy a couple of great events that Phoenix have held for staff!
