My Career
Life Story

Hadleigh Pickering, Apprentice Project Manager.

The apprenticeship attracted me because I could gain an industry recognised qualification in a challenging role and earn a competitive salary. And I didn’t need any relevant experience, which showed how Phoenix was keen to invest in new talent.

From the beginning of the scheme, I’ve been assigned a skills coach, mentor and day-to-day line manager. And I get the opportunity to work with people from across the business. Everyone’s always willing to share their knowledge and skills. They’re never too busy to help out or answer questions, no matter how small.
