Here at Phoenix, we have a brand new role within out Group Risk function for a Privacy Assurance Manager. This is an exciting opportunity and the chance for the right candidate to make this role their own,, supporting our Data Protection Officer in implementing and maintaining a framework for managing data protection under the General Data Protection Regulation.
No two days will be the same with the role offering lots of variety and exposure to different stakeholders across the business.
The role will be a part of a team of eight, reporting into the Data Protection Officer.
The key focus of the role will be on overseeing and evaluating our third parties’ compliance with data protection legislation ensuring that services are provided to agreed and acceptable standards. on both the customer and employee side.
It’s important to mention this role will involve travel to our third party suppliers and to our various offices, but we will consider flexible working when appropriate.
The ideal candidate must have extensive Data Protection experience; we aren’t looking for candidates whose experience is primarily as a GDPR project manager.
We are initially looking for someone on a 4 month fixed term contract with the view to go permanent.
