As a business, we are continually transforming ourselves, to such an extent that change and transition is part and parcel of everyday life. In the last 12 months alone, we have begun the process of transferring all operations to one single site and moved from a venture capitalist ownership model to listed shareholder status.
This in itself presents unique and exciting challenges for the actuarial team - in terms of harmonising and standardising business processes and procedures across the group, as well as increased reporting and regulatory requirements, plus the need for a more robust and rigorous risk management framework.
